Since the parent commit, the ra_ResponseWindow will be chosen
automatically. Correspondingly, remove most ra_ResponseWindow options
from configuration files in the repository.
One problem in some mu=1 configs is that the ra_ResponseWindow=4 (10
slots), which might be overly restrictive if the L1 slot ahead is
somewhat close to 10 (e.g., 6), in which case we might not be always
able to allocate Msg2 in time.
A notable exception here is gnb-vnf.sa.band66.u0.25prb.nfapi.conf, in
which we still provide it (1) since it uses a non-standard configuration
of a ra_ResponseWindow longer than 10ms (see also issue #916 for more
information) and (2) as an example.
* In LTE there is logic that checks the thread configurtion with the
getters `get_thread_parallel_conf()` and `get_thread_worker_conf()`
in NR these getters are not used, only setters, which have no impact
In a previous commit, the functionality of handling IPv6 (and DNS names)
as part of the IPv4 was introduced (in IPv4 field for backwards
compatibility). This commit now removes superfluous configuration
fields:
- IPv6: handled by IPv4 field
- active: users can just remove an entry
- preference: not needed
This commit introduces several enhancements in X2AP and RRC to deal
with ENDC. The main goal is to deal with UE's on/off and with various
errors.
The following work is included:
- DC prep and DC overall X2 timers
- X2 messages for UE release and DC timers' timeout
Open problems:
- what to do when the UE sends an scg Failure? This commit removes
the UE. And this removal may not be correctly done
- UE removal in the gNB's PHY layer (a next commit is coming,
but it is hackish and will need a rework)
