The previous designs seems to do:
loop {
poll_ind_queue()
if (msg)
scheduler;
pselect() on messages;
handle_message {
if slot_ind
put_ind_queue()
}
}
So basically, we artificially put a queue for slot indications in the
middle, but still handle it in the same thread(!). This for some reason
results in a big slow down if the PNF runs faster.
Now, we just do pselect(), waiting for messages. We handle the slot
indication immediately (the schedule should take some microseconds),
then return to pselect().
This directory contains the NFAPI code.
It comes in two parts:
1 - open-nFAPI
This is a clone of the github repository
(https://github.com/cisco/open-nFAPI,
commit b3bc579b1697eab829d5d8a2de59c93a61b88fa4).
The patch open-nfapi.oai.patch has then been applied.
2 - oai_integration
This is code written by David Price from Cisco to integrate
open-nFAPI into OpenAirInterface.
